This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Guide and motivate a diverse team consisting of content creators, designers, reviewers, and production specialists.
• Oversee team performance in relation to productivity and quality benchmarks; offer feedback and coaching; conduct performance evaluations; address any performance issues.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members effectively.
• Take ownership of the operational execution of the content roadmap by converting strategy into actionable project plans, milestones, deliverables, and priorities.
• Report on delivery progress, obstacles, and risks to the Content Leadership team.
• Lead resource planning and forecasting efforts within the team.
• Utilize Google Sheets and project management tools like JIRA for planning, tracking, and managing workflows, deadlines, and the project database.
• Employ data to monitor, forecast, and analyze educational material planning and production, thereby guiding prioritization and assessing roadmap viability.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and reliable operational data, systems, trackers, and metrics.
• Maintain content quality and ensure deliverables align with briefs, deadlines, editorial standards, and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Content Leads to enhance processes and drive efficiency.
• Facilitate responsible integration of AI throughout the content lifecycle.
• Bring educational experiences to life through high-quality, curriculum-aligned courses aimed at students and teachers in Australia and international markets.
• Proven experience in leading and developing a team, including workload management, goal setting, conducting team meetings and one-on-ones, and providing constructive feedback.
• Accountability for team results and overall performance.
• Demonstrated history of managing operational delivery, including projects, plans, metrics, and resources.
• Experience in resource planning and forecasting.
• Strong decision-making capabilities for managing conflicting priorities and escalating risks early.
• Excellent critical-thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in multi-step processes and systems.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or similar tools; comfortable with data manipulation and trend identification.
• Capability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Australian working rights are required.
