Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, manage, and integrate the company's internal software ecosystem, which includes CRM, billing, accounting systems, databases, and analytics dashboards.

• Discover, prototype, and develop customized SQL and JavaScript scripts, AI agents, and low-code connections to reduce manual tasks.

• Streamline workflows across People, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations through automation.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance lead pipelines, enrich customer data, optimize conversion funnels, and update customer-facing websites.

• Create and sustain data pipelines, operational dashboards, and data models to support strategic decision-making.

• Utilize Lean principles and systems analysis to outline workflows, pinpoint operational or financial bottlenecks, and develop solutions.

• Act as an execution partner for executive leadership by addressing unassigned, cross-functional technical challenges across products, vendor platforms, and internal operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• IC5 or higher.

• Capability to map cross-functional workflows, recognize operational bottlenecks, and implement Lean principles.

• Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to prioritize amid ambiguity.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL.

• Competence in developing internal tools, scripts, and API integrations.

• Proven experience in designing dependable data pipelines.

• Background in maintaining zero-defect data models.

• Experience in delivering impactful BI dashboards.

• Technical expertise in Salesforce/HubSpot, Stripe, NetSuite/Xero, Segment, and GitHub/npm APIs.

• Strong attention to detail and dedication to flawless execution.

• Practical experience with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, function calling, and low-code orchestration platforms like Pipedream, Make, Zapier, or n8n.

• Preferred working location/time zone between UTC-6 and UTC+5.

• Previous experience as a startup founder, Technical Operations Lead, GTM Engineer, Finance Ops Engineer, or Principal Engineer is advantageous.

• Familiarity with React, Next.js, and the MUI tool ecosystem is a plus.

• Knowledge of open-source ecosystems, developer tools, or PLG telemetry metrics is beneficial.

• Application of Lean principles within knowledge work or software development is a nice to have.
