Operations Dispatch Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Set up and allocate new claims, tasks, and requests within the claims management system.

• Input and verify claims data for precision and completeness.

• Assess claims notes and documentation to ascertain assignment, urgency, and subsequent actions.

• Initiate outbound calls to carriers, adjusters, and internal partners to gather information, secure approvals, or clarify details.

• Direct claims within the organization according to established assignment protocols and resource guidelines.

• Distribute claims based on workload distribution, service expectations, and priority levels.

• Assist hotel and housing coordinators during the setup and assignment of claims.

• Utilize various platforms to review, route, and modify claim assignments.

• Reach out to adjusters via phone or text to discuss claim specifics.

• Ensure that necessary temporary housing claim information is accessible, including loss location, FNOL, scheduled dates, and urgency indicators.

• Collaborate with management on assignment processes and resource usage.

• Keep track of open items and follow up on pending tasks.

• Elevate urgent issues, delays, or discrepancies to leadership.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities and support organizational quality initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of two years of clerical, administrative, dispatch, or property claims management experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience in a dynamic environment involving task routing, workflow coordination, or claim support is preferred.

• Fluent Spanish is advantageous.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.

• Proficient in PC use, particularly Microsoft Office products.

• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Capability to review documentation meticulously and accurately.

• Ability to thrive in a team setting while maintaining individual accountability.

• Capacity to remain composed, professional, and solution-oriented during challenging interactions, competing priorities, or workplace conflicts.

• Resilience and emotional stability when receiving feedback, addressing concerns, or working under pressure.

• Proficiency in communicating respectfully and assertively while observing appropriate boundaries.
