This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement a scalable operational strategy for Virtru's Global Public Sector business, focusing on U.S. Federal, Defense & Intelligence, and International Government segments.
• Create and oversee multi-year operational roadmaps and budgets that align with public sector growth objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on market strategy, public sector operations, and resource allocation.
• Establish, operationalize, and uphold the sales forecasting process for the public sector business.
• Coordinate Sales, Marketing, Channel/Partner, and Solutions Engineering teams around pursuit strategies and major account plans.
• Work with Finance to design variable sales commission structures.
• Manage operations concerning federal government contracting vehicles and strategic partnerships.
• Facilitate the expansion of international partner ecosystems within allied government markets.
• Ensure compliance of public sector operations with FAR/DFARS, security frameworks, and internal regulations.
• Directly supervise the Facility Security Officer and maintain Virtru's relationship with DCSA, including Top Secret Facilities Clearance.
• Oversee government procurement vehicles and teaming agreements.
• Assist in operational requirements for international frameworks, such as the U.K. Government's G-Cloud 13 Framework.
• Lead a growing team that includes contracts specialists and security officers.
• Define and monitor KPIs/OKRs, conduct regular business reviews, and ensure accountability within teams.
• Act as the main operational liaison between Public Sector and Finance, Legal, HR, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher).
• Over 10 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, or program management.
• Minimum of 5 years supporting Public Sector markets, including Federal, DoD/IC, SLED, or International Government.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling operations for a rapidly growing public sector technology business.
• Extensive understanding of government procurement processes, FAR/DFARS, and contracting vehicles such as GWACs, IDIQs, CRADAs, and GSA Schedules.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, and BI/reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence cross-functionally.
• Experience working in or with a SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, or data technology company.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized platforms.
• Experience in navigating FIPS 140-2 validated environments.
• Ability to think innovatively, challenge teammates and managers constructively, and strive for excellence.
• Strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable with asynchronous communication methods including Slack, email, and Zoom.
