Operations & Commercial Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of BioScript’s commercial strategy for specialty pharmacy services.

• Convert strategic objectives into practical operational plans and workflows.

• Oversee operational readiness for new service introductions, relaunches, and onboarding of partnerships.

• Ensure coordination among Business Development, Strategic Partner Relations, field nurses, AccessLink, Operations, and Analytics teams.

• Monitor and assess program performance, which includes KPIs, patient pull-through, and timelines.

• Identify underlying causes of underperformance and execute optimization strategies.

• Promote consistency across regional operations.

• Develop and uphold workflows, budgets, and operational playbooks.

• Ensure processes are scalable and repeatable.

• Collaborate with Field Nurses and AccessLink Managers to facilitate process adoption.

• Assist in business reviews and client interactions.

• Work alongside internal cross-functional partners.

• Offer operational insights and strategic recommendations.

• Serve as a liaison between the Commercial team and cross-functional departments.

• Establish KPIs that align with commercial objectives.

• Work with the Data Analytics Manager to deliver actionable insights.

• Contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

• Develop, oversee, and track budgets.

• Monitor operational costs to ensure alignment with targets.

• Assist with forecasting and variance analysis.

• Plan and manage conference attendance.

• Handle conference logistics in collaboration with the Marketing team.

• Assess the ROI of conference participation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

• 5–8+ years of experience in operations or commercial strategy.

• Background in specialty pharmacy, patient support programs (PSPs), or the pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience collaborating with pharmaceutical partners.

• Strong grasp of operational workflows and patient journeys.

• Excellent project management capabilities.

• Strategic thinker with a focus on execution.

• Commitment to operational excellence.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proven cross-functional leadership abilities.

• Financial literacy.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Bilingualism in French and English may be necessary based on the role, location, and organizational requirements.

• For roles based in Quebec, proficiency in French is essential for daily responsibilities.
