This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Thrivent field staff by showcasing leadership and taking ownership of Life and Health new business cases.
• Enhance the number of cases issued while ensuring an advisor- and client-focused experience.
• Act as a primary contact for assigned Thrivent Advisor Groups.
• Establish expectations, deliver just-in-time training, and advocate for key issues.
• Foster business relationships with field staff and Operations teams.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and Teams messages from field staff.
• Oversee the lifecycle of each application in accordance with service standards, prioritizing tasks with minimal direction.
• Handle sensitive communications, confidential data, and complaints professionally.
• Review applications and documentation to confirm they are properly prepared for submission.
• Follow up on any missing or incomplete information.
• Provide updates on critical cases to team members, field staff, corporate, field, and executive leadership.
• Share ideas for service and process enhancements.
• Respond to inquiries regarding new business, contract modifications, and underwriting; offer guidance and resolve issues.
• Utilize independent judgment and problem-solving skills across cases of varying complexity.
• Influence others without direct authority to take actions affecting case placement and the client/advisor experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the financial services sector, preferably in life and health insurance, sales, and/or customer service.
• Proven track record of strong performance and success.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and sustain effective business relationships.
• Demonstrated capacity to swiftly identify issues and employ robust problem-solving abilities to resolve or prevent escalated matters.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with minimal guidance.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic and changing environment.
• Capacity to influence without authority, collaborate with others, and achieve results with little oversight.
• Willingness to take ownership of cases and act with a high level of accountability.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CT.
