This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the team in preparing building permit applications and managing related administrative tasks.
• Take responsibility for assignments and identify the necessary subsequent steps.
• Monitor details, follow up with relevant contacts, and document procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate records and a comprehensive paper trail of communications, submissions, and responses.
• Examine documents to spot missing information, errors, or inconsistencies.
• Utilize online permitting portals, software, AI tools, spreadsheets, and various other systems.
• Elevate issues to the appropriate individual or higher-ranking contact as needed.
• Clearly and promptly report progress, updates, and any problems encountered.
• Oversee multiple projects, revisions, deadlines, government procedures, and necessary follow-ups.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a solid work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks while managing numerous projects and deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and open to receiving feedback.
• Able to operate independently without continuous supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Maintain a clear and thorough paper trail of emails, calls, submissions, and responses.
• Recognize when to seek clarification and escalate issues appropriately.
• Communicate updates and problems without delay.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and utilize online permitting portals, software, AI tools, spreadsheets, and additional systems.
• Strong research and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to identify absent information, errors, or inconsistencies within documents.
• Capable of accurately handling repetitive administrative tasks.
• Comfortable working with deadlines, revisions, governmental processes, and follow-ups.
• Experience in building permits, construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate is a significant advantage.
• Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to work night-shift hours from 9 PM to 5 AM local time, aligned with U.S. business hours.
• Completion of the application, video introduction, Criteria Corp assessment, take-home assignment, and final recruiter interview is required.
• Submission of a working 3–5 minute introductory video link with the application is mandatory.
• No benefits or PTO (clearly stated for this contract position).
