Operations Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver training and support to franchisees within the designated region while enhancing profitability.

• Execute the franchisee store startup program, which encompasses operational training and marketing evaluations.

• Stay informed and skilled in operations and training methodologies.

• Reach out to franchise owners prior to and following their opening.

• Assist with pre-opening timelines, training, shift management, scheduling, ordering, and daily/nightly documentation.

• Relay opening milestones, setbacks, and concerns to the Operations Manager and relevant personnel.

• Conduct follow-ups with restaurants post-opening and visit underperforming locations.

• Formulate action plans to address shortcomings and uphold brand standards.

• Inspect all stores a minimum of twice annually.

• Enhance operational standards through guidance, training, and development of management skills.

• Educate franchisees and store staff to adhere to the franchise model and system.

• Train employees on the safe operation and handling of equipment and products.

• Review P&L statements and provide franchisees with best practice advice.

• Consult with franchisees to pinpoint needs and opportunities, determining necessary investigations.

• Advise the Support Department on franchisee matters and follow up on their behalf.

• Gather brand-compliance data and assist franchisees in enhancing their image.

• Aid in corporate planning for regional meetings.

• Complete and maintain necessary paperwork, records, and daily reports.

• Manage daily and weekly schedules using Microsoft Outlook.

• Travel 70–80% both within and outside the region.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two to four years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proficient in using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

• Experience with scheduling software.

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) software.

• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required.

• Credit card with sufficient credit limit to cover expenses.

• Solid background in the relevant industry.

• Experience in sales and business operations.

• Capability to read and interpret a profit and loss statement.

• Prior restaurant experience is required.

• Willingness to travel an average of 70–80% of the time.
