📋 Description

• Provide support to the Operations Accounting team in managing capital and operating expenses related to upstream and midstream assets, lease acquisitions, and reserves.

• Execute journal entries that facilitate month-end and ad hoc closing activities.

• Conduct account reconciliations, verify balances, and address variances as needed.

• Analyze financial outcomes and pinpoint trends prior to reporting deadlines.

• Assess non-operating JIB invoices for accuracy before processing payments.

• Aid in the documentation and monitoring of land and lease activities.

• Assist with reviews of LOE and O&M expenses against the budget.

• Support data validation and testing for accounting workflows.

• Gain insights into AI and automation tools that enhance accounting functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to all majors in Accounting, both undergraduate and graduate levels.

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting.

• Applicants should have completed at least their sophomore year at an accredited 4-year institution before the internship begins.

• A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required.

• Experience with large datasets and business intelligence tools is preferred but not mandatory.

• Candidates residing in EQT's operational regions (Southwestern PA, WV, OH) will be given preference.

• Remote work is not available for candidates in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.
