This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Provide support for both production and non-production JO and Analytics environments across various regions.
• Collaborate with peers and TechOps to troubleshoot incidents, contributing to root-cause analysis and subsequent improvements.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts, along with small tools to facilitate deployments, diagnostics, data/operations workflows, and minimize manual efforts.
• Engage with Azure DevOps pipelines, manage Terraform-based AWS resources, and work with Kubernetes (EKS) workloads.
• Adhere to Git-based change management practices and team standards.
• Assist in the operation of Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting purposes.
• Optimize dashboards and runbooks to ensure early visibility of issues.
• Collaborate with Development, Professional Services, and Support teams regarding releases, environmental requirements, and customer-impacting tasks.
• Create runbooks, READMEs, and handoff documentation for the systems involved.
• Suggest safer and more efficient patterns while adopting appropriate modern DevOps, cloud, and data pipeline practices.
• 2–4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, SRE, or platform engineering, or equivalent depth gained through production work.
• Hands-on experience delivering a cloud SaaS or PaaS product with multi-environment, customer-facing implications.
• Demonstrated customer-centric production ownership, urgency, and effective communication skills.
• Capable of coordinating efforts across internal teams and completing tasks independently without constant oversight.
• Proactive, collaborative, and professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability in Bash and Python scripting for operational or automation tasks.
• Experience with AWS production environments, including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, or similar core services.
• Practical experience with Terraform, including modules and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions is preferred.
• Docker experience is required; exposure to Kubernetes/EKS or similar is strongly preferred.
• Experience with on-call or production support, including structured troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Proven track record of documenting systems and operational procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Ansible, GitOps, Helm, Kustomize, AlertManager, log aggregation, SLI/SLO metrics, ETL/streaming/batch pipelines, security and compliance awareness, as well as background in telecom, enterprise SaaS, or journey/analytics platforms.
