Operating Room Technical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Prepare operating rooms tailored to various specialties: setup and installation.

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival.

• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to position patients for surgery.

• Oversee the progression of procedures alongside OR support technicians (TSO), the surgical team, and the anesthesia team.

• Ensure proper documentation and traceability for each procedure, as well as the equipment and instruments utilized.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating rooms and equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in an operating room is mandatory.

• Ability to adapt across various specialties: orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.

• Expertise in hygiene and aseptic practices.

• Strong skills in prioritization and stress management.

• Capability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Competence to work independently.

• Flexibility in work assignments.

• Possession of the ATSSO diploma is considered an advantage.
