
Operating Room Sales Representative – Acute Care and Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Accountable for driving sales of capital and consumable product portfolios that address respiratory surgical complications within the Operating Room environment, as well as engaging with the C-Suite level of hospital management.
• Spearhead the development of territory opportunities and activities that lead to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales projections.
• Take full responsibility for delivering precise forecasts to the Regional Business Manager during each reporting period for the assigned territory.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, and implement effective sales strategies that sustain the current business base and facilitate the closure of competitive and revenue growth opportunities.
• Investigate, nurture, and finalize all related product sales inquiries and leads from existing customers within the designated geographic territory.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the regionally aligned field sales team to drive incremental RMS revenue and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop, negotiate, finalize, and manage profitable agreements.
• Effectively utilize and update sales tools to accurately reflect trends in the existing business base, develop call strategies, and manage territory and strategic business plans.
• Deliver strategic messaging proficiently in a variety of settings, including trade shows, presentations, and board meetings.
• Offer consultation on product features and benefits, promote value messaging, and provide clinical support.
• Lead the local team in coordinating and supporting clinical evaluations and pre-sales efforts.
• Execute post-sales activities, including implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing customer support.
• Build and nurture customer relationships to understand, align with, and support customer initiatives.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of related products and applications.
• Keep a comprehensive understanding of related programs and value-added services.
• Efficiently utilize Specialist and Clinical resources to optimize the sales process in a cost-effective manner.
• Notify the Regional Business Manager and local area team members of new account opportunities.
• Complete all assigned projects and administrative tasks promptly.
• Consistently adhere to all Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience*; or Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of experience*; or Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience*.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• At least 5 years of sales experience with a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of documented sales success (meeting quota) in medical capital equipment and/or consumables (preferred).
• At least 1 year in a team selling environment (preferred).
• Experience in selling to the acute care hospital operating room sector (preferred).
• Ability to quickly develop contracts with a supporting financial business case (preferred).
• Proven success in complex sales and clinical environments (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in computer applications and business software (preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process (preferred).
• Knowledge of the medical sales landscape (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; outstanding ability to interact with clients (preferred).
• For bachelor's degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
