This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.
• Assist in providing solutions to address clients’ business challenges through direct technical implementation and the promotion of best practices.
• Advocate for the adoption of Red Hat solutions among customers by leveraging technical knowledge and interpersonal abilities.
• Aid customers in creating scalable, well-managed, and flexible enterprise technology infrastructures utilizing Red Hat technologies.
• Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new skills and technologies.
• Travel frequently to collaborate with clients in financial services, retail, telecommunications, and institutional sectors.
• Work collaboratively on customer project delivery as a key technical contributor.
• Transform customer use cases into project plans that align with Red Hat technologies.
• Deploy intricate enterprise solutions within customer environments as a member of a delivery team.
• Share insights, best practices, and practical advice with both internal and external communities of practice.
• Experience in delivering implementations as part of a project team based on an architectural framework.
• Proven ability to contribute to a technical project, including collaborating on timelines and maintaining project and technical documentation.
• Capability to understand stakeholder needs and manage expectations regarding project timelines and scope.
• Experience in working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• A passion for mentoring others.
• Basic experience in using and configuring Linux systems.
• Familiarity with configuration as code principles.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes on GKE, EKS, or AKS is preferred.
• Intermediate technical knowledge of one or more virtualization and cloud technologies such as OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, AWS, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as YAML and Python.
• Understanding of the benefits of automation in complex environments.
• Some experience with or configuration of cloud technologies, including container management and/or orchestration.
• Previous exposure to or hands-on experience with OpenShift is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• Intermediate-level knowledge of infrastructure, networking, storage, and security.
• Willingness to travel 20–30 weeks per year on average throughout North America.
