OpenShift AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Participate in pre-sales initiatives, which include customer discovery workshops and solution design sessions.

• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to identify opportunities, outline project scopes, and create persuasive technical proposals.

• Assist with RFP/RFI submissions and deliver presentations on AI solutions to both technical and executive audiences.

• Evaluate customer AI, data, and infrastructure ecosystems and recommend scalable architectural solutions.

• Design and deploy enterprise AI platforms utilizing Red Hat OpenShift AI and Red Hat OpenShift.

• Lead initiatives for MLOps adoption, encompassing model lifecycle management, deployment automation, monitoring, and governance.

• Create architectures for model training, fine-tuning, serving, and inference at scale.

• Aid customers in the deployment and operationalization of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) workloads.

• Provide technical guidance throughout delivery, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, assisting in the development of AI and platform roadmaps.

• Work alongside Product Engineering, Consulting, and Support teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Promote the adoption of MLOps, DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in consulting, platform engineering, cloud architecture, data platforms, or enterprise infrastructure positions.

• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, facilitating complex solution sales cycles.

• Strong proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenShift AI.

• Experience in designing and implementing AI/ML platforms and MLOps workflows.

• Understanding of machine learning lifecycle management, model deployment, monitoring, and governance.

• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI application architectures.

• Knowledge of data science platforms, AI frameworks, and model serving technologies.

• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and container platforms.

• Proficient with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security, networking, and data architectures.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tell compelling stories at an executive level.

• Capacity to translate business objectives into AI and platform solutions.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
