This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Establish domain concepts, entities, categories, attributes, and relationships within formal ontologies.

• Standardize terminologies to create a common business or scientific understanding across various systems and departments.

• Develop and maintain machine-readable knowledge models utilizing OWL, RDF, SPARQL, and SHACL.

• Offer structured context and guidelines for enterprise AI, knowledge graphs, Graph RAG, and LLM applications to enhance reasoning, minimize hallucinations, and integrate diverse data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise ontologies and controlled vocabularies, with direct involvement in constructing upper ontology frameworks or domain-specific ontology frameworks.

• Background in developing AI systems from the ground up and contributing to the design of prototype applications.

• Expertise in OWL, RDF, SPARQL, and SHACL standards.

• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, Graph RAG, and LLM applications.

• Experience working collaboratively with enterprise data or AI teams and effectively communicating ontology decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to work in the United States.

• Previous experience with government clients is advantageous.

• An active security clearance is preferred.
