Online Visiting Professor – Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Educate and impart professional insights and experiences to both undergraduate and graduate students.

• Support student learning by delivering courses and programs that adhere to DeVry University's standards.

• Create course syllabi and lesson plans.

• Implement teaching strategies to fulfill course and program objectives.

• Develop and present approved course syllabi using local campus templates, incorporating terminal course objectives.

• Organize, prepare, regularly review, and update course materials.

• Utilize online technologies and course-related software, such as websites, email, and online discussions.

• Exemplify effective oral and written communication skills.

• Establish course expectations, objectives, assignment and exam dates, and evaluation criteria.

• Ensure that exams correspond with course terminal objectives.

• Prepare and evaluate exams consistently and fairly, offering timely feedback to students.

• Incorporate responsible AI technologies into classroom instruction and learning.

• Identify, assess, and manage appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools.

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctorate in the subject area being taught or a doctoral degree in a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject is mandatory.

• Applicants are required to upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application.

• Degrees must be obtained from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or from an international institution deemed to have equivalent accreditation.

• Additional requirements may be imposed due to state licensing or accreditation considerations.

• Strong subject matter expertise is essential.

• Excellent communication skills are required.

• A commitment to continuous professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices is essential.
