Online Psychology Adjunct Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on practical instruction via the Canvas LMS.

• Foster an engaging learning atmosphere utilizing innovative teaching methods.

• Improve the learning experience and achieve desired student outcomes.

• Provide support to students during evenings and weekends.

• Act as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting software or technical issues for students.

• Convey industry experience and offer hands-on practical instruction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the relevant field from a regionally accredited educational institution.

• 3-5 years of required industry experience.

• Industry experience must have occurred within the last 5 years.

• Candidates must be available during evenings and weekends to assist students.

• Strong active-learning abilities for effective teaching.

• Experience in a student-centered and hands-on learning environment.

• Maintain the highest levels of integrity at all times.

• Capable of operating in a fast-paced 5-week course accelerated environment.

• Approachable and able to establish rapport quickly.

• Attentive listener, capable of understanding multiple perspectives.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is required.

• Responsible for providing your own Windows-based computer and webcam that meet the ECPI University minimum requirements test.

• 2 years of online teaching/curriculum experience and strong online webinar presentation skills are advantageous.

• Experience with Canvas LMS is preferred.

• 10-15 years of career industry experience is preferred.
