Online Eco Rep

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the growth and development of the Sustainable SNHU online community.

• Facilitate discussions and conversations centered around sustainability topics.

• Welcome and engage new members of the community.

• Promote participation in sustainability initiatives, campaigns, and events.

• Create content related to sustainability, including discussion prompts, educational posts, articles, polls, and resource sharing.

• Aid in the promotion of sustainability programs and events to online learners.

• Showcase sustainability success stories from students and university initiatives.

• Help maintain an inviting and consistent online presence.

• Assist in the planning and execution of virtual sustainability engagement activities.

• Develop opportunities for online students to connect based on sustainability interests.

• Support sustainability awareness campaigns throughout the academic year.

• Collect participant feedback to enhance programming.

• Monitor engagement metrics and participation data.

• Assist with reporting the outcomes of Sustainable SNHU initiatives.

• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.

• Collaborate closely with the Office of Sustainability staff and fellow Eco Reps.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Assist with initiatives that connect campus and online communities.

• Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving student engagement.

• Must be a current SNHU student in good academic standing.

• Strong skills in written communication.

• Demonstrated interest in sustainability and community engagement.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities.

• Comfortable utilizing virtual communication platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

• Preferred: Experience in participating in online communities or student organizations.

• Preferred: Experience in creating social media or digital content.

• Preferred: Familiarity with sustainability concepts and practices.

• Preferred: Experience in facilitating discussions or leading groups.
