Online Criminal Justice Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on instruction utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).

• Foster an engaging and dynamic learning atmosphere.

• Employ innovative teaching strategies to enrich the educational experience.

• Instruct in a 5-week intensive course format.

• Conduct one live session each week through Zoom.

• Host one live office hour weekly via Zoom.

• Assist students with strong interpersonal engagement and empathy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field from an accredited institution.

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience is mandatory.

• Industry experience must have occurred within the last 5 years.

• Possession of relevant technical certifications or licenses (if applicable).

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in using technology for online curriculum delivery (Windows, Zoom).

• Capability to rapidly establish rapport with students through strong interpersonal skills, including approachability and empathy.

• Ability to thrive in a 5-week accelerated course setting.

• Maintain the highest standards of integrity at all times.

• Dependable high-speed internet connection is mandatory.

• Must provide your own Windows-based computer and webcam.

• Computer system must meet ECPI University’s minimum requirements test.

• Required to conduct one live session weekly via Zoom and maintain one live office hour each week via Zoom.
