This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead tailored account experiences for Health Care Providers and key accounts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
• Establish meaningful connections with customers and identify common priorities.
• Navigate solutions to connect customers with Novartis resources.
• Balance demand generation alongside strategic account engagement.
• Address and resolve account challenges with customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Analyze the market, competitive landscape, and cross-functional dynamics to foresee opportunities and challenges.
• Utilize territory data and market trends to reveal local insights and support pull-through initiatives.
• Lead customer interactions both virtually and in-person.
• Conduct stakeholder planning sessions to address complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and work collaboratively with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for virtual and face-to-face outreach to customers.
• Complete necessary initial training, including home study, during the designated training period.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the past 5 years, or experience in complex sales environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors.
• A proven record of consistent high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Strong analytical skills to seek, prioritize, and apply relevant information to address customer issues.
• Ethical leadership with the ability to promote ethical behavior and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is mandatory.
• For Associate level: recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• For Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years of experience in a relevant sales position or industry within the last 5 years.
• For Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years of experience in a relevant sales role or industry within the last 5 years.
• Desirable: experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategies, and new product launches.
• Desirable: understanding of patient services, market access, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to applicable customer credentialing guidelines, which may include vaccination requirements.
