This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales targets for the Washington D.C. area.
• Collaborate with territory team members to drive territory performance.
• Engage with key stakeholders to grasp practice structure, business models, influencers, priorities, and requirements.
• Foster business relationships and build trust with oncology customers.
• Inform stakeholders about oncology products and engage with the wider oncology community.
• Utilize approved resources and communication to convey patient-centered product value in designated applications.
• Leverage knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines.
• Examine trends in complex drug-distribution and purchasing environments.
• Assess product purchasing and prescribing behaviors across outpatient and inpatient infusion settings, hospitals, and GPO contracts.
• Create and implement both short-term and long-term strategies in partnership with the local team and district manager.
• Pose insightful questions to facilitate meaningful product-portfolio discussions.
• Guarantee a uniform customer experience across various company divisions and functions.
• Share customer insights and collaborate with Customer Team Leaders, Key Account Managers, Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Associates, Medicare Account Executives, and others.
• Travel to meet customers in person and participate in national sales meetings and industry conferences.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience may encompass professional sales, healthcare/scientific roles, with oncology experience being highly preferred, professional marketing experience, or military background.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to operate a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including 10–15% overnight travel.
• Must reside in or near the district.
• Openness to visiting customers in person and attending national sales meetings and industry conferences.
• Preferred: 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers.
• Preferred: Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience.
• Documented strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role is preferred.
• Less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience may qualify for S2 level; 2+ years is required for S3 level.
• Open to US and Puerto Rico residents only.
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
