This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the rollout of a newly sanctioned targeted treatment for lung cancer.
• Market the oncology product to oncology practices within a designated geographic area.
• Engage in face-to-face conversations with oncologists, oncology nurses, office personnel, and pharmacists.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Inform healthcare providers about the oncology product, its approved uses, and available patient support services.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of the product, disease state, clients, and geographical territory.
• Establish, nurture, and uphold ongoing communication with physicians and influential thought leaders across the US.
• Utilize the customer relationship management system for maintaining call logs and strategic account planning.
• Provide expertise and exemplary customer service to clients.
• Collaborate efficiently and mobilize necessary resources.
• Complete training to gain insights into the disease state and product positioning.
• Travel to medical offices and hospitals as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a focus in business, life sciences, or a clinical field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales.
• At least 1 year of oncology experience with a comprehension of the integrated oncology network.
• A proven track record of measurable and documented sales achievements is preferred.
• Ability to strategize, analyze, and act based on sales data within the assigned region.
• Strong and persuasive business communication skills with physicians and providers.
• Capacity to work autonomously while exercising sound business judgment and discretion.
• Proficiency in analyzing and identifying opportunities within the territory.
• Familiarity with Sales Force Automation applications is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% as necessary to cover the territory, within a 2-hour radius of the headquarters; some overnight travel may be required.
• Capability to execute a clinical product sale.
• Established success in territory management.
• Strong understanding of VEEVA systems.
