Oncology Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Abstract newly diagnosed cancer cases.

• Assist in identifying cases.

• Execute quality control procedures on data.

⛳️ Requirements

• College-level education in cancer data management or equivalent experience.

• Upon hiring: National Oncology Data Specialist certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association.

• Associate's degree is preferred.

• Coursework in Anatomy & Physiology or completion of relevant courses is preferred.

• Experience in abstracting newly diagnosed cancer cases is preferred.

• Experience in an ACoS-approved Cancer Registry is preferred.

• Familiarity with Cancer Registry software such as ONCOLog is preferred.
