This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as the preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Analyze opportunities within the territory and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance targets.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships through regular in-person engagement.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with key stakeholders in accounts and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Implement retention strategies while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology laboratories, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Stay informed about molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Act as a resource for laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Share market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and fulfill necessary administrative tasks.
• Keep assigned company assets in good condition.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong comprehension of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement environments.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel regularly.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check, drug screening, credit check where applicable, and reference verification.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift routine office materials.
• Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience with a focus on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within oncology or pathology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Target incentive may be applicable.
• Travel is required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
