This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive onboarding journey for new Wagepoint clients, starting from account submission to the successful execution of their first payroll run.

• Set up payroll accounts precisely, ensuring adherence to Wagepoint guidelines and government regulations.

• Provide training via calls, emails, and online sessions, assisting clients in effectively utilizing Wagepoint’s payroll platform.

• Monitor, document, and resolve onboarding challenges in partnership with the Sales, Risk, and Support teams.

• Keep accurate records of onboarding processes, setup instructions, support documentation, and system configurations in internal tools.

• Recognize recurring onboarding issues and propose enhancements to the process.

• Report directly to the Onboarding Team Lead.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in processing Canadian payroll or assisting clients with payroll onboarding, support, or implementation.

• Strong grasp of payroll compliance and fundamental taxation principles.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt as payroll legislation, internal processes, and product features evolve.

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of clearly explaining payroll concepts.

• Experience managing KYC/KYB and other compliance-related documentation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills.

• Capability to independently investigate and resolve onboarding issues while knowing when to cooperate or escalate matters.

• Comfortable operating within a CRM-driven environment, such as HubSpot.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace and video conferencing tools.

• Collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic remote setting.

• PCP designation or progress towards it is preferred as an advantage.

• Membership in the National Payroll Institute is preferred as an advantage.

• Experience with payroll software or HR/payroll platforms is preferred as an advantage.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred as an advantage.

• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred as an advantage.
