This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, emphasizing compliance and efficient documentation, which includes verifying and preparing employment packages.
• Take ownership of the complete employee onboarding lifecycle while meeting operational requirements to ensure a seamless experience.
• Respond to employee inquiries throughout the onboarding journey.
• Collaborate closely with the Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, and Payroll teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance the onboarding experience.
• Manage and safeguard employee data, ensuring compliance with accuracy, security, and confidentiality standards.
• Contribute to reporting, audits, and projects focused on data integrity.
• Recognize and advocate for automation opportunities to optimize onboarding processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
• Report directly to the Manager of Onboarding Operations.
• Solid background in operational roles with a strong grasp of people operations; experience in employment and legal contracting is essential.
• Expertise in managing employment contracts and other legally binding documents, particularly within HR or people management contexts.
• Proven experience in dynamic, cross-functional environments, preferably within startups or rapidly expanding companies.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English at a business level.
• Strong attention to detail and clarity in both documentation and communication.
• Proficient in utilizing collaboration tools for effective asynchronous work.
• Capable of learning and adapting to new and evolving systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, international remote team.
• Competence in managing multiple priorities while catering to global needs with flexible working hours.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Google Workspace (G-Suite) or similar platforms.
• Ability to organize, maintain, and update knowledge and content resources.
• Previous experience conducting employment verification checks.
