On-Site Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate weekly construction update meetings with clients.

• Conduct weekly update and coordination sessions with contractors.

• Collaborate with the design team to address contractor RFIs.

• Manage and distribute project submittals.

• Liaise with clients, project managers, vendors, contractors, landlords, building departments, and other stakeholders in construction.

• Ensure continuous equipment operation in critical environments.

• Create customized solutions for HVAC, generator, and utility enhancements.

• Develop Method of Procedure (MOPs) outlining project task sequences for clients.

• Enhance client relationships and maintain trust through outstanding performance.

• Analyze and interpret construction drawings.

• Update schedules via the client's online construction platform, Project Mates.

• Establish project timelines and monitor progress against milestones and deadlines.

• Formulate project budgets and track their status.

• Organize project meeting minutes and follow-up action items.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline.

• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Lead in the Food and Dairy Industries, working for a manufacturer or engineering consultancy.

• Expertise in engineering tools and software for project scheduling, milestone tracking, budget management, meeting documentation, and follow-up tracking.

• Capability to review and interpret construction drawings.

• Adaptability and readiness to work on diverse projects and tasks.

• Ability to operate independently and demonstrate initiative.

• Basic knowledge of BMS/BAS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Previous experience in a mission-critical facility is a plus.

• Prior commissioning experience is beneficial.

• Work experience based in the U.S. is required.
