On-Site Artwork Project Manager, Packaging

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of packaging projects for designated clients

• Manage the entire packaging artwork workflow from start to finish

• Collaborate with team leaders to handle project scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations

• Handle high-volume project schedules, planning, task management, priorities, and deadlines

• Act as a liaison between management, internal teams, and clients to resolve issues and provide solutions

• Coordinate the production of artwork, prepress activities, pre-production discussions, meetings, approval routing, and workflow tool operations

• Convert client directives into actionable communication for end users

• Mentor and guide team members on best practices for project management and communication

• Develop, enhance, and optimize workflow processes

• Establish projects and approvers, onboard users of workflow tools, and improve project organization

• Prepare estimates and handle purchase orders

• Ensure the technical and content accuracy of provided artwork

• Enhance and uphold quality control processes

• Report production challenges, implement corrective measures, anticipate risks, and promote continuous improvement

• Provide advice to production teams regarding brand best practices

• Oversee color quality, production schedules, and necessary corrective actions

• Cultivate client relationships, anticipate client requirements, assess satisfaction, and identify business opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

• Must be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite; Adobe certification is advantageous

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational capabilities

• Familiarity with artwork management systems

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently towards objectives in a complex, diverse environment with shifting demands

• Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, as well as printers and suppliers

• Must possess a forward-thinking mindset and a drive for improvement

• Entry-level position; 2–3 years of experience preferred

• Previous experience in customer service and/or project management is beneficial

• Project Management Certification is a plus

• Experience in packaging, artwork, creative project management, print, production, design, art industry, pre-press, or color management theory is advantageous
