On-Call IT Program/Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee task-order intake, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management across various on-call IT service categories.

• Gather and define task orders; develop staffing plans utilizing specialty benches.

• Manage scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent on-call IT projects.

• Act as a key personnel member and the primary client liaison for the IM Division.

• Coordinate specialists in systems, networking, cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud services.

• Organize certified small-business subconsultants when necessary.

• Generate status updates and quality-control reports for public-agency clients.

• Contribute IT project management qualifications and narratives of past performance to AlphaGov proposals when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in IT program/project management for public agencies or large organizations.

• Familiarity with on-call/task-order contract work.

• Comfortable working as a 1099/project-based collaborator.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for client on-site visits.

• PMP certification (preferred).

• Experience in port/maritime or municipal IT (preferred).

• Experience with California public agencies (preferred).

• 2–3 relevant project management engagements that can be referenced, including scope, dates, and role (preferred).
