This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Establish and oversee the daily operations of the Seattle office
• Supervise facilities management, landlord relationships, and maintenance coordination
• Manage office vendors, encompassing cleaning, security, utilities, catering, and supplies
• Collaborate with Finance to develop and maintain office budgets
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and workplace safety standards
• Create and uphold operational processes and documentation
• Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging office atmosphere
• Organize and execute on-site events, team gatherings, and cultural initiatives
• Partner with People and IT to facilitate onboarding and enhance employee engagement
• Act as a culture ambassador, aligning the workspace with Docker’s core values
• Assist visiting executives, leadership, and customers with logistics and coordination
• Manage office access systems and employee badging
• Coordinate conference rooms, shared spaces, and workspace assignments
• Work alongside IT on equipment provisioning, office technology, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with People and Talent to support hiring growth in Seattle
• Coordinate with global office operations to ensure consistency across locations
• Contribute to workplace policies and future office planning
• Assess the Seattle office, establish vendor contacts, and identify areas for improvement
• Implement standardized operational processes, finalize vendor agreements, launch workplace initiatives, and manage budget tracking
• Scale office operations, enhance space utilization and workplace systems, foster Seattle office culture, and develop long-term facilities and growth strategies
• Serve as a trusted leadership partner on workplace strategy and employee experience
• 8+ years of experience in office management, facilities management, or workplace operations
• Experience in launching or scaling a new office location is highly preferred
• Strong expertise in vendor management and budget oversight
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a technology company or high-growth environment preferred
• Proficiency with workplace management tools and common office software platforms
• Must be a resident of the Seattle, WA area
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
