Offer Planning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Oversee operational data (routes, stops, running times, rules, fleet) within HASTUS, ensuring quality, consistency, and regular updates.

• Configure the network by incorporating external data (ridership, events, constraints) to enhance planning efforts.

• Carry out quality checks and maintain data reliability and security through validation, backup, and restoration processes.

• Design and optimize the network utilizing HASTUS planning modules to model and adjust transit lines.

• Create accurate timetables that meet demand and adhere to operational constraints.

• Optimize fleet assignments and driver schedules (scheduling, makeup, rotations) in accordance with social regulations.

• Implement finalized timetables into operational systems.

• Conduct scenario analyses by simulating the effects of new rules or service modifications on operations and costs.

• Offer strategic recommendations and consolidate analyses to inform decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in logistics, science, or mathematics with 3 years of experience in the field, or CESS with 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transport.

• Proficient in computer use and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Skilled in database management systems and analytical software.

• Familiarity with HASTUS is a plus.

• Experience in mobility and passenger transport is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Interest in mathematical logic and optimization.

• Detail-oriented, organized, precise, and independent.

• Ability to comprehend the effects of planning decisions on operations and drivers’ daily tasks.

• Collaborative team player with a strong focus on both internal and external customer service.

• Capable of adapting to evolving IT tools and new mobility solutions.
