Occupational Therapist – Home Health, Clinical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations in occupational therapy to assess children's motor skills, sensory processing, functional abilities, self-care skills, and developmental requirements.

• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to each child's strengths, needs, and family objectives.

• Deliver direct therapy services utilizing evidence-based methods, therapeutic activities, adaptive tools, and sensory-based interventions as appropriate.

• Assist children in enhancing fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care activities, play abilities, coordination, and involvement in daily routines.

• Train and support families and caregivers with strategies to foster progress at home and within the community.

• Track progress through continuous assessment and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Accurately document, complete treatment notes, progress reports, and evaluations in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and members of the multidisciplinary team to enhance each child's care plan.

• Engage in team meetings, case discussions, training sessions, and collaborative planning as required.

• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for all clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license.

• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• CPR, First Aid, and Article 9 training certification, or a willingness to complete the necessary training.

• Professional liability insurance, as needed.

• Pediatric experience is preferred.

• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is advantageous.

• Strong clinical competencies in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Highly motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently.

• Compassionate, family-centered approach to providing care.

• Ability to effectively collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Resume and a brief cover letter showcasing pediatric therapy experience.
