Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist (LMHC, LMFT)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide mental health care to patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans and offer services as a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider.

• Identify mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create detailed treatment plans.

• Utilize comprehensive assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Employ telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Complete a minimum of 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Work with patients experiencing chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Acquire additional state licenses as necessary to facilitate expansion into new markets.

• Master’s degree and relevant licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship at any time.

• Cannot accommodate employment authorization linked to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• A private work-from-home environment for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Current full/independent licensure in the relevant state(s).
