Nutrition Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee significant, enterprise-level initiatives within Nutrition Services.

• Guide and support a committed team of dietitians.

• Design clinical programs aimed at enhancing patient health and outcomes.

• Contribute to departmental objectives and align nutrition initiatives with population health priorities.

• Manage clinical programs and assigned projects, ensuring timely achievement of outcomes.

• Evaluate clinical data and reporting dashboards to assess program effectiveness and enhance clinical metrics.

• Create content and facilitate clinical training for Dietitians, Operations, and Clinical Leaders.

• Revise resources and tools available to field teammates.

• Collaborate across functions to ensure accurate nutrition information and update educational materials.

• Prepare and disseminate Nutrition Services updates at the Village level in coordination with Team Mercury and corporate communications.

• Advocate for patient and modality education and create content for national dietitian conference calls.

• Provide support to Nutrition Services Operations, Clinical Excellence Teams, and Divisional Lead Dietitians.

• Participate as a member of the Nutrition Services National Team and engage in workgroups.

• Represent the department at national meetings and conference calls.

• Adhere to, communicate, and implement teammate guidelines, employment policies, and company procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• State licensure/certification in dietetics where applicable.

• Expert-level proficiency in clinical dietetics.

• Proven experience in driving clinical outcomes and metrics at a divisional level or higher.

• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DaVita-specific applications, and reporting platforms.

• Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving history.

• Flexible scheduling and willingness to travel as necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Preferred: Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

• Preferred: Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSR) credential.

• Preferred: Previous experience in formal dietitian leadership and structured project management.

• Capability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities, adjust to changing deadlines, and achieve results in a dynamic environment.

• High level of confidentiality concerning patient and teammate information.

• Ability to lift 2 to 20 pounds unassisted and perform repetitive actions such as sitting and standing, stooping, walking, stretching, and reaching.

• Proficient in conducting effective conversations, delivering clear presentations, and utilizing computers, phones, and peripherals for extended durations.
