Nurse Practitioner, Weight Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• We are seeking creative Nurse Practitioners with extensive generalist experience and a strong interest in Weight Management to become part of our expanding healthcare team.

• Nurse practitioners will receive compensation based on a per-assessment model.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must hold a Nurse Practitioner license in at least one province in Canada.

• Preference will be given to Nurse Practitioners with multiple licenses or those whose credentials align with our current requirements.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating a commitment to providing optimal patient care.

• Direct experience in treating and managing obesity is essential.

• Additional certifications or training in obesity or weight loss are advantageous.

• Must be physically located in Canada and possess a billing number in the province(s) where you are licensed, which is necessary for ordering laboratory tests.

• A minimum commitment of 6 hours per week scheduled on the platform, along with logging in at least every 24-48 hours to meet patient needs.

• Must be a member in good standing with the College(s) where you are registered as a Nurse Practitioner, and be eligible and willing to obtain licensure in other provinces.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to the code of conduct established by the governing body of your province/territory.

• Experience in telemedicine is required. Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is a plus.

• A solid understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work practices is necessary.

• Must be adaptable and open to change.
