Nurse Practitioner – Weekends, Evenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends.

• Deliver care to a varied clientele with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in a continuous telemedicine setting.

• Prescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms when necessary.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across multiple locations.

• Participate in the ADHD Clinic, accepting and treating clients with ADHD.

• Refer clients to in-person providers if their symptoms are too severe for telemedicine-only treatment.

• Currently, do not treat substance use disorders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is required.

• A Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is mandatory.

• Three years of experience is advantageous; however, a minimum of one year of psychiatry practice is required.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will be practicing.

• Part-time positions require 20 hours of availability weekly during evenings or weekends.

• All clinicians must undergo in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief exam.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 and older.

• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
