Nurse Practitioner – Weekends and Evenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends in Illinois

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in an ongoing telemedicine format

• Prescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms when necessary

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans

• Complete and/or manage relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations

• Provide care to a diverse clientele experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health disorders

• Primarily treat adults and adolescents, including clients aged 14 and older

• Join the ADHD Clinic and accept and treat ADHD clients without limitations on client or prescription volume

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatory

• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous

• Three years of experience is preferred; at least 1 year of practice in psychiatry is required

• Must hold a license and reside in the state where services will be provided

• Part-time positions require a minimum availability of 20 hours per week during evenings or weekends

• Completion of an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches is required, followed by a brief examination

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 years and older

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring
