Nurse Practitioner – Weekends and Evenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Prescribe medication as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on tailored care plans.

• Complete and/or administer necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

• Deliver care to a diverse clientele with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

• Offer telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends, primarily catering to adults and adolescents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• Requires a Master's degree in Nursing along with active prescriptive authority in the state.

• A minimum of one year of psychiatry practice is mandatory; three years of experience is preferred.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time positions require 20 hours of availability per week, primarily during evenings or weekends.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is beneficial.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 and older.

• All clinicians are required to complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief examination.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
