This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assess, advise, treat, and manage patients through telehealth services focused on gynecologic and reproductive health issues.
• Offer counseling and management for contraceptive options.
• Address menopause, perimenopause, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, fertility concerns, pregnancy-options counseling, sexual health, STI management, and various gynecology follow-up issues.
• Provide follow-up for cervical cancer screenings and results counseling as appropriate in a virtual setting.
• Attend to associated medical, behavioral health, and preventive care needs within the defined scope.
• Collaborate with primary care, mental health, and in-person clinical teams.
• Assess when issues necessitate in-person examinations, laboratory tests, imaging, specimen collection, procedures, or specialty referrals.
• Offer inclusive, trauma-informed, evidence-based healthcare.
• Work in partnership with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, mental health professionals, care coordinators, and in-person clinic teams.
• Contribute to the development of virtual care pathways, clinical protocols, decision-support tools, and practice standards.
• Leverage technology and data for clinical decision-making, documentation, quality enhancement, and virtual workflows.
• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA.
• A valid California license and DEA registration are required.
• Minimum of two years of independent outpatient clinical experience post-training completion.
• Proven experience in independently evaluating and managing a wide range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health issues.
• Core expertise in gynecology, women’s health, reproductive health, or sexual health; or broad outpatient experience in gynecology and primary care with significant gynecology-focused clinical responsibilities.
• Capacity to deliver high-quality telehealth services and discern when in-person examinations, tests, imaging, procedures, or advanced care are necessary.
• Dedication to providing inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care.
• Data-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable collaborating with Operations.
• Availability to work in the PST timezone.
• Strong foundational knowledge in outpatient gynecology and women’s health.
