Nurse Practitioner – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual healthcare services as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Provide patient care through Felix’s digital healthcare platform.

• Address and manage obesity issues while supporting weight management initiatives.

• Offer asynchronous care via written communications with patients.

• Arrange for laboratory testing utilizing provincial billing credentials.

• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to relevant professional conduct codes.

• Utilize the Felix platform, EMRs, and technology for remote work effectively.

• Collaborate with engineering and clinical support teams.

• Ensure eligibility for practice in additional Canadian provinces as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada.

• Preference for candidates with cross-jurisdictional or multiple provincial licenses.

• Minimum commitment of 20 scheduled hours per week is required.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Proven track record of delivering optimal care to patients.

• Direct experience in treating and managing obesity is essential.

• Must be physically located in Canada.

• A billing number in the province(s) of licensure is necessary for laboratory testing orders.

• Must be a member in good standing with the relevant College(s).

• Willingness and eligibility to obtain licenses in other provinces is required.

• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to provincial or territorial conduct codes.

• Experience in telemedicine is an asset.

• Strong understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work practices.

• Experience in areas such as weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, or birth control care is advantageous.

• Must be adaptable and receptive to change.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Currently incorporated or willing to pursue incorporation.
