Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends in Maryland.

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations on an ongoing telemedicine basis.

• Prescribe medication as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer the required paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various sites.

• Provide care to a diverse clientele with conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

• Primarily work with adults and adolescents, with plans for future expansion across all age groups.

• Accept and treat ADHD clients through the ADHD Clinic, with no quotas for clients or prescriptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is an advantage.

• Three years of experience is beneficial.

• At least 1 year of practice in psychiatry is mandatory.

• Must be licensed and residing in the state where the practice will occur.

• Part-time position requires 20 hours of availability weekly during evenings or weekends.

• Completion of in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches is required, followed by a brief exam.

• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older is essential.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
