Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends in Kansas

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine setting

• Deliver care to a varied demographic facing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more

• Primarily work with adults and adolescents, with plans to broaden care across all age groups in the future

• Prescribe medications as needed to alleviate mental health symptoms

• Develop and collaborate with clients to create personalized care plans

• Complete and/or administer pertinent paperwork and assessment tools for clients

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across different sites

• Accept and provide treatment for ADHD clients through the ADHD Clinic, without any quotas for client numbers or prescriptions

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatory

• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred

• At least one year of experience in psychiatry practice is essential

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must hold a license and reside in the state where they will practice

• Part-time positions require 20 hours of availability per week during evenings or weekends

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is an advantage

• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older

• All clinicians must complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief examination

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
