Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions during evenings and weekends in Connecticut.

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine.

• Provide treatment for a varied population suffering from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

• Deliver care primarily to adults and adolescents, with plans for future expansion to all age groups.

• Prescribe medications when necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across multiple locations.

• Accept and provide treatment for ADHD clients through the ADHD Clinic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

• Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in psychiatry practice is needed.

• Clinicians must be licensed and residing in the state where they will practice.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is an advantage.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.

• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older is necessary.

• Part-time positions require 20 hours of availability per week during evenings or weekends.

• Completion of in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a short exam is required.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
