Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of registered nurses in a virtual environment

• Provide support for up to 10 residential aged care facilities

• Serve as an extension of care teams by offering guidance and enhancing staff confidence

• Ensure that residents receive safe, consistent, dignified, and high-quality care

• Build relationships with residents, families, and understand the distinct needs of each home

• Drive advancements in healthcare delivery

• Empower local staff and improve their competencies

• Facilitate effective communication with consumers and care team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Newly Qualified Nurse Practitioner with at least 3 years of full-time equivalent nursing experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

• Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice

• Current unconditional AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement

• Demonstrated experience in team management

• Proficient in virtual communication methods

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong nursing assessment skills with a focus on delivering quality care

• Capable of multitasking and proficient in navigating computer systems, phone, video, and audio platforms

• Formal qualifications or experience in Aged Care are highly desirable
