Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual healthcare services as a Nurse Practitioner via Felix’s digital healthcare platform.

• Provide care emphasizing weight management and obesity treatment.

• Evaluate and manage patients through written, asynchronous communications.

• Offer ongoing patient care across various digital health domains.

• Order laboratory tests utilizing a provincial billing number.

• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to relevant professional conduct codes.

• Commit to a minimum of 40 scheduled hours per week on the platform.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, engineering, and clinical support teams.

• Utilize Felix’s platform, EMRs, and remote work technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada.

• Preference given to candidates with cross-jurisdictional or multiple provincial licenses.

• Minimum availability of 40 scheduled hours per week is required.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Direct experience in treating and managing obesity is essential.

• Must be physically located in Canada.

• A billing number in the province(s) of licensure is required for laboratory testing orders.

• Must be a member in good standing with the relevant College(s).

• Must maintain eligibility and a willingness to obtain licensure in other provinces.

• Must uphold confidentiality and adhere to the provincial/territorial code of conduct.

• Experience in telemedicine is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in technology, EMRs, and remote work is necessary.

• Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is a plus.

• Must be adaptable and open to change.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Currently incorporated or willing to become incorporated.
