Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality online care to patients focusing on lifestyle health issues.

• Evaluate patients and facilitate online treatments, prescription delivery, and ongoing healthcare.

• Provide virtual healthcare in various categories, including weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and acne.

• Utilize Felix’s healthcare professional platform to offer asynchronous virtual health services.

• Log in every 24–48 hours to meet patient needs.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and leverage engineering and clinical support.

• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to relevant professional codes and PHIPA privacy regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner licensed in Alberta.

• Preference will be given to Nurse Practitioners with additional licensing.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Must be physically located in Alberta.

• Alberta practitioner ID is necessary for ordering laboratory tests.

• Availability for at least 8 hours of scheduled time per week, alongside logging in every 24–48 hours to address patient needs.

• Must be a member in good standing with the relevant College(s).

• Maintain eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with the governing provincial/territorial code of conduct.

• Experience in telemedicine is essential.

• Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is a plus.

• Strong understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work is required.

• Willingness to become incorporated, as needed for the role.

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

• Capable of fulfilling the mandatory minimum commitment of 20–40 hours per week.
