Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct consultations for veterans and other patients seeking a medical cannabis prescription.

• Provide education to patients regarding the therapeutic use of cannabis.

• Perform follow-ups with patients to evaluate their responses to prescribed dosages and cannabinoids.

• Issue medical cannabis prescriptions via a virtual platform, primarily catering to veteran patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be registered with and hold a good standing with the College of Nurses.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload.

• Collaborative mindset when working with existing team members and physicians.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills.

• Knowledgeable about scientific research and eager to expand understanding of the industry.

• Experience in pain management or mental health is advantageous.

• Previous experience with veterans and/or medical cannabis is a significant plus.

• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
