This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Lead a team of virtual nurses while promoting a culture of kindness, teamwork, and compassion.
• Mentor and support new hires through shadowing, reverse shadowing sessions, and onboarding training assistance.
• Provide daily clinical support and facilitate ongoing education for all nursing staff.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Operations Leadership on scheduling, quality assurance, and training requirements to meet standard practices and client program demands.
• Ensure that daily responsibilities are fulfilled by the assigned nursing team, addressing performance issues through coaching or documentation as necessary.
• Liaise with Clinical Leadership, Compliance, and the People Team regarding any patient or staff concerns.
• Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assist in assembling a team of dedicated, patient-centered nurses.
• Aid in the implementation of modifications to programs and procedures.
• Complete special projects and additional assignments as required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in as many of the following states as possible: NY, CA, IL, FL, MO, KY, RI. Licenses from CA and compact licenses are highly preferred.
• Experience in Triage and Critical Care is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of Charge Nurse/Clinical Management/Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize multiple EMRs and various communication tools, including Google products; proficiency in EPIC is preferred.
• Must be comfortable with the virtual use of continuous and episodic vital sign monitoring devices.
• Capability to work from home in a HIPAA-compliant environment is essential.
• Confident in leadership, able to make evidence-based decisions, and implement changes tactfully. Self-motivated.
• Professional and effective communication style that resonates with all staff members and patients.
• Ability to deliver training and education clearly and effectively to staff as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to calm others. Capable of handling patient escalations with respect and dignity, diffusing situations and ensuring patient satisfaction.
