This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephonic professional nursing services utilizing motivational interviewing techniques for contracts funded by pharmaceutical clients.

• Assist patients through inbound and outbound calls following their enrollment in nursing support programs.

• Perform risk assessments, offer home injection training, provide education on disease states and products, and adhere to patient-specific call schedules.

• Conduct additional calls as instructed and remain accessible to support callers via phone.

• Address inquiries from patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals.

• Suggest client-approved resources and direct callers to training, support groups, program materials, or literature.

• Refer callers to healthcare providers for recommendations that fall outside the program's scope.

• Gather and input accurate, timely, clear, and complete data related to calls and tasks.

• Engage in program-specific customer meetings, training sessions, and orientation meetings.

• Exhibit clinical competency through electronic or written assessments.

• Undertake special projects and other responsibilities associated with contract performance.

• Operate under moderate supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (or an equivalent diploma).

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the state of employment and/or possess cross-licensure in other states.

• Candidates in telephonic nursing roles must have (or be willing to obtain) a compact nursing license.

• Openness to acquiring additional state licenses upon request.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in basic database and office navigation skills.

• Capacity to maintain a high level of customer interaction and service skills over the phone.

• Ability to multitask effectively with PC and phone-related tasks while adhering to approved scripted materials.

• Proficient in interpreting patient information to identify appropriate next steps.

• Preferably possess telephonic nursing experience, particularly in support of a pharmaceutical product.

• Experience with motivational interviewing techniques is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively and promote teamwork.
