Nurse Auditor – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Clearly and systematically record and document technical audit opinions on both internal and external platforms.

• Offer operational assistance to the team in addressing inquiries related to billing workflows and claims analysis.

• Utilize nursing expertise within an auditing framework.

• Contribute to Arvo’s mission of enhancing healthcare accessibility in Brazil by leveraging data and artificial intelligence to minimize fraud, abuse, and waste in healthcare payments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

• Active registration with COREN.

• Basic to intermediate understanding of key healthcare billing coding tables: SIMPRO, BRASÍNDICE, TUSS, and CBHPM.

• Previous experience with health insurers, healthcare providers, or billing/audit consulting firms is advantageous.

• Early-career professional in the auditing domain.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Genuine interest in the healthcare and technology sectors.

• Capability to swiftly learn new operational processes.

• Ability to apply nursing knowledge in a practical and thorough manner.
